i didnt answer because he's actively shunning me and when he does ring it always to preach to me about how we're so close to the end and how i should "humble myself before the mighty hand of god" .

i knew a couple--many years ago---on their honemoon---he gets up in the hotel bedroom--middle of the night---gropes around in the dark feeling for the wash basin......thinks hes found it--pees in it--gets back to bed..
next morning his new wife finds her open vanity case is all wet inside.

leaving aside all the demunz, bogey men and evil spirit rubbish....the real issue is filling childrens minds with the stuff--its just another form of child abuse.
i grew up with stories relayed by easily influenced dubs--including my own parents. it got to the point i was afraid of the dark--a pre-teen kid terrified of everything and anything.
fortunately--when i discarded jehovah and his watchtower gang,--- in my early 20's...the fear of demons went away too.
a few years later i overheard my bat-shit crazy born-in mother in law ( the sort that would have eaten a rutherford turd in a bread roll )---telling my kids about demons. i hit the roof. gave her a real evil spirit to be frightened of.

Would This Be Adultery?
by FedUpJW ini just happened to read a news article from some months ago about doctors having performed a successful penis transplant.
the recipient lost his due to cancer, and doctors expect him to gain full use of his "new" penis, including sexual activities.
considering some of the more goofy interpretations of doctrine that the gooberning body trots out that the rank and file must obey under penalty of shunning i wonder if a man had this surgery, would he and or his wife be df'd for adultery?

Do you find it therapeutic coming to this site?
by UnshackleTheChains ini read on another thread how this site has helped another user and that for them it has been a form of therapy.. for me yes, jwn has most certainly been a form of therapy.. i recall the days i first came to jwn (in 2004) and couldn't believe i had found people who were of the same opinion as myself in regards to the society.
it was this site that led me to reading ray franz's book 'crisis of conscience' which i read twice within a week.
it also led me to jw facts that goes into every nook and cranny regarding the society's teachings, policies and history.. note: i also visit many other sites and watch you tube videos a lot, but gravitate here most of the time.. coming here to express my inner most thoughts and feelings has helped me no end and allows me to overcome my frustrations.

in the few years ive been a member--it has surprised me how many have come on here--got what they needed--and moved on..
then--we see a constant stream of new members. every one on the escape route from the watchtower cult: in their own time and pace.
